Happy Saturday!
Just a note to say I hope everyone can attend Easter services tomorrow. We’re looking forward to having a wonderful day of worship.
In SS class, we’ve mentioned helping a new Mom out with some basic supplies. If you’re able, please bring diapers to donate and you can pass them to Jan Mosley in Sunday school.
It’s movie time. We’re watching Fireproof as a class this upcoming Sunday. We’ll be meeting at the home of Jan Mosley @ 4:45pm. Please a food item for sharing, for snacking prior to the movie. Hope to see every one there!
Please email me at the address below if you need directions to Jan’s home.
Happy New Year! God has blessed us with a new day & a new year.
What a better time to spread the good word – invite a friend, neighbor or family member to come to church with you. January is high attendance month and we have set the goal of 17 for our class.
Please pray that God will show us our own personal goals for this new year – we’ll see you in Sunday
School!

Be there or be square!
December 13th is here. We’ll get together to celebrate Jesus birthday.
We’ve signed up to bring a cover dish to share. (Mmmm – memories of that apple pie)
We’ve also participated in an ornament swap. (The golden pine cone…yet will it return?) One per couple will do.
This event will be at the Pucketts house, time 5pm.
Email me if you need directions!
On December 3rd our class will converge on one night with 2 different social opportunities.
• Ladies cookie swap: Bake 4 dz of your best cookies and bring to the swap. Come home with a platter of assorted goodies from your fellow bakers. This is a good event, trust me.
• Guys wing night: Hang out and eat some wings, your choice ~ hot or wimpy ~ with your fellow brothers from FBCPS. (PS. leave some room for some cookies, that is if your nice – we might share in our wealth!)
Cookie swap will be at the home of Sherri, in Country Walk @ 7pm.
Wing night will reside at Buffalos in Hiram @ 6:30-7pm.
Our Sunday afternoon bible study will reactivate January 2009. Stay tuned…
*Please note that we have secured our Thursday dinner drop with the new parents. Bonnie has also confirmed that she will take dinner to them @ 6:15pm on Thursday, please have all food to her house no later than 6pm on 10/16.
Thanks for everyones help, happy cooking.
For this week, starting 10/12, please remember the following things we spoke of in S.School.
This week, we’ll be taking dinner to the newest parents in our class. Way to go Wendy & Doug!! —As a class, we’ve committed to getting food to Bonnie prior to Thursday 10/16 by 5pm. She’ll confirm this date with Doug/Wendy to make sure. But if you signed up for a food item don’t foreget (this is my reminder =))
Alright, we have a fund raiser for the Lottie Moon mission silent auction coming up. As a class we decided to prepare a “Date night” basket. Please brainstorm and if you are able, bring an item that fits this theme to class prior to Sunday 10/26. This will help us make an awesome submission for this event.
Ok – don’t forget about the bible study on Sunday afternoons and the pumpkin carving social. I’ll re-post those date as soon as I check my notes! They are on the horizon.
God bless and smile!
